The Role

  • Design, develop, and implement secure systems in on-premises infrastructure, ensuring security is integrated throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Leverage experience with security technologies and industry best practices to meet DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity professionals, engineers, and government counterparts on systems and cyber security engineering tasks.
  • Support the secure architecture and design of DoD systems in accordance with DoDI 8510.01 and NIST SP 800-53.
  • Lead RMF activities, including selecting, implementing, and validating security controls within the system development lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain key security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessments.

What You'll Need

  • BS degree in cybersecurity or a related field, with 8+ years of relevant experience (experience in lieu of degree is accepted).
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a Poly.
  • At least one of the following DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certifications: CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP, or CASP+ CE.
  • Experience reviewing cybersecurity vulnerabilities, performing risk assessments, and planning mitigations/remediations.
  • Proficiency in architecting, designing, and deploying vulnerability scanning solutions (e.g., Tenable).
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux/UNIX operating systems.
