Mid-Senior Systems Administrator

Leidos is seeking a Mid/Sr. System Administrator to support mission-critical programs across national security, health, and engineering. In this role, you will manage and optimize Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, storage, and backup/DR solutions for government and commercial clients. You will implement security baselines, patching, and hardening, automate routine tasks, and monitor performance to ensure high availability. Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers and core infrastructure services
• Implement and maintain system security baselines, patches, and hardening standards
• Manage virtualization platforms, storage, and backup/DR solutions
• Automate routine administration tasks using scripting and configuration tools
• Monitor system performance and capacity, recommending improvements
• Support incident response, root-cause analysis, and problem remediation
• Collaborate with security, network, and development teams on project delivery
• Document system configurations, procedures, and runbooks
• Support on-call rotation for mission-critical environments
