Technical Cloud Project Manager (Google Cloud Platform)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Cloud Project Manager with strong project delivery and stakeholder management experience, ideally with exposure to Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The successful candidate will coordinate technical discovery, assessment, documentation, and delivery activities across business and technical teams.

The role requires someone highly organized and comfortable managing delivery plans, action items, dependencies, risks, documentation, stakeholder workshops, and executive-level communications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project delivery plans, schedules, milestones, and action trackers.
• Manage backlogs, action items, dependencies, blockers, RAID logs, and decision logs.
• Coordinate technical workshops, stakeholder meetings, interviews, and working sessions.
• Manage project documentation, repositories, questionnaires, and structured data collection.
• Coordinate application discovery and technical assessment activities.
• Plan and facilitate stakeholder interviews and documentation intake.
• Administer technical questionnaires and validate response completeness.
• Track dependencies, risks, issues, and blockers through resolution.
• Coordinate acceptance and review of assessment deliverables.
• Manage assessment deliverables and ensure timely completion.
• Prepare concise status reports and executive/working-team readouts.
• Work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to drive accountability and follow-through.
• Ask effective technical follow-up questions and ensure gaps are identified and addressed.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Project Management

• Strong technical project management and delivery experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining delivery plans and schedules.
• Backlog, action-item, RAID, dependency, and decision-log management.
• Strong status reporting and project documentation skills.
• Experience coordinating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder sessions.
• Experience managing document repositories and structured information collection.

Cloud & Infrastructure Knowledge

• Working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) preferred.
• Understanding of VM-based applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure concepts.
• Understanding of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) concepts.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and understand technical dependencies.

Delivery & Assessment Support

• Application discovery coordination.
• Stakeholder interview planning and facilitation.
• Documentation intake and validation.
• Questionnaire administration and response completeness review.
• Dependency and blocker tracking.
• Acceptance/review coordination.
• Assessment deliverable management.
• Executive and working-team presentations/readouts.

Preferred Certifications

• PMP
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
• PMI-ACP
• Comparable project delivery certification
• Google Cloud foundational certification is a plus.
