Job Description

Executive Assistant / Junior Project Manager | New York, NY

Our client is a globally recognized leader in financial technology, data, and information services that sits at the center of the world's financial markets. This is a unique opportunity to support a senior business leader driving strategy and growth across a major revenue-generating division, while gaining exposure to high-impact initiatives that influence commercial performance, client retention, and organizational scale.

This role goes beyond traditional executive support. You'll serve as the Financial Solutions COO team, helping coordinate strategic projects, manage business priorities, and keep key stakeholders aligned across a fast-moving global organization. It's ideal for someone who is proactive, highly organized, and excited by the opportunity to operate at the intersection of executive support, business operations, and project management.

What You'll Do

  • Provide high-level support to senior executives, including complex calendar management, meeting coordination, and travel logistics.
  • Partner closely with leadership to keep strategic initiatives, action items, and business priorities moving forward.
  • Prepare meeting materials, track follow-ups, and help ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, offsites, and events involving stakeholders across multiple offices and time zones.
  • Maintain project trackers and reporting to provide visibility into key business initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase team effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization while handling sensitive information with absolute discretion.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, business operations, or project coordination experience.
  • Proven experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and navigating competing demands.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Ideal Background

  • Experience within financial services, fintech, data, technology, media, or another complex global organization.
  • Exposure to strategic planning, leadership meetings, commercial operations, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to bridge executive support and project coordination responsibilities.

Why This Role?

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with senior leaders responsible for driving growth, client retention, and operational strategy across a globally influential business. It's an exceptional platform for an ambitious Executive Assistant who wants visibility, impact, and exposure to the decision-making processes that help shape a world-class organization.
