Senior Network CNI Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network CNI Test Engineer with strong experience in network hardware certification, OSS/network testing, test automation, Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud-native networking.

The ideal candidate will have strong Finance / Financial Services industry experience and hands-on expertise in validating enterprise networking platforms, protocols, and cloud-native networking environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform network hardware certification, validation, and interoperability testing.
• Execute OSS/network testing for network platforms and services.
• Design and execute test plans for LAN/WAN, routing, switching, and network protocols.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and integration testing.
• Troubleshoot network issues using Wireshark, tcpdump, IXIA, and Spirent.
• Develop and maintain network test automation using Python, Ansible, APIs, GitHub, and Robot Framework.
• Validate networking functionality within Kubernetes/CNI and cloud-native environments.
• Perform packet-level troubleshooting across Linux and network infrastructure.
• Support CVE analysis, security patch validation, and network hardening.
• Work with engineering teams to identify defects, perform root-cause analysis, and drive issues through resolution.
• Lead network certification and validation initiatives from test planning through final sign-off.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of LAN/WAN network engineering and design experience.
• Finance / Financial Services industry experience – Mandatory.
• Strong CCIE or CCNP-level networking expertise.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware testing and certification.
• Strong OSS testing / network testing experience.
• Experience with Cisco Catalyst, Cisco Nexus, and Arista platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IGMP, PIM, and Multicast.
• Experience with PIM-SM, MSDP, IGMPv2/v3, and related multicast technologies.
• Experience with IXIA, Spirent, Wireshark, and tcpdump.
• Strong Python and Ansible automation experience.
• Experience with Kubernetes, CNI, kubectl, and container networking.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with eBPF and Cilium.
• Experience with CVE analysis, security patch validation, and network hardening.
