Job Details:

Job Title: Infrastructure Security Engineer (Palo Alto Networks)

Location: Bellevue, WA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Primary Focus:

Enterprise network security engineering, Palo Alto administration, SASE, secure connectivity, and security posture improvement.

Required Qualifications:

Must Have:

  • Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE, or equivalent)
  • Experience with Palo Alto SASE product suite
  • Experience working within the CIS Security Framework
  • Deep knowledge of:
  • Azure NSGs
  • AWS Security Groups
  • Routing and segmentation
  • Private Endpoints
  • Ingress/Egress controls
  • Infrastructure as Code (Ansible)
  • IT orchestration platform experience
  • Experience performing security risk and change impact assessments
  • Experience designing and supporting:
  • Remote Access Solutions (RAS)
  • VPNs
  • SD-WAN
  • Partner connectivity
  • Extranet access
  • Experience assessing and remediating network security posture

Preferred

  • Experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to design secure implementation patterns
  • Experience operating within formal change management processes and CAB frameworks
  • Zero Trust architecture experience

Responsibilities

  • Engineer and administer Palo Alto security infrastructure.
  • Review infrastructure changes for operational and security impacts.
  • Design secure access architectures and connectivity models.
  • Assess security posture and drive remediation activities.
  • Participate in change management processes and provide stakeholder traceability.
  • Collaborate across security, infrastructure, and business teams to implement secure network solutions.
