Network Security Analyst -W2

Introduction:

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Analyst / SOC Analyst with strong hands-on experience in cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the security of our network and systems by proactively monitoring for security threats, responding to security incidents, and analyzing and mitigating potential risks.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents
• Conduct security incident response and investigations
• Perform threat analysis and develop strategies to prevent security breaches
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect network infrastructure and data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed
• Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Cyber Security
• Incident Management
• Network Security
• Threat Analysis

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or NetWitness
• Experience with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, or SentinelOne
• Knowledge of IDS/IPS and threat intelligence
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks

Candidates must be comfortable working onsite in Austin, TX.
