Job Title: Cargowise EDI Business Analyst

Location: Remote, United States

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EDI Solutions Analyst to support customer onboarding, integration, and EDI process optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), business analysis, and data mapping. This is a customer-facing role focused on gathering business requirements, defining business rules, coordinating testing activities, and ensuring successful EDI implementation and support.

Experience with CargoWise, freight forwarding, air cargo, customs brokerage, or logistics operations is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze customer business requirements related to EDI integrations and data exchange processes.
• Define, document, and validate business rules, workflows, and data mapping specifications.
• Act as the primary liaison between customers, business stakeholders, and technical teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Coordinate and support EDI testing, troubleshooting, validation, and go-live activities.
• Analyze inbound and outbound EDI transactions and ensure accurate data flow between systems.
• Work closely with customers to identify process improvements and recommend EDI solutions.
• Support implementation and maintenance of EDI transaction sets and partner integrations.
• Document requirements, functional specifications, testing scenarios, and integration processes.
• Provide post-implementation support and resolve EDI-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in an EDI Analyst, EDI Solutions Analyst, EDI Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of EDI concepts, standards, transactions, data mapping, and business logic.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into functional specifications.
• Proven customer-facing experience with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating UAT, integration testing, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CargoWise integration and EDI processes.
• Background in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, customs brokerage, or air cargo operations.
• Understanding of transportation and logistics data flows.
• Experience working with customers in an implementation or solutions consulting environment.
