RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Jupiter, FL that is seeking an Application Operations Engineer.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Application Operations Engineer to support Asset Suite 9, NAMS, and related Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) applications within a mission-critical operational environment. This role is responsible for maintaining system availability, resolving technical issues, supporting maintenance and upgrade activities, and ensuring the reliability of applications that support asset management and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational and technical support for NAMS and Asset Suite 9 environments
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database connectivity, interface, printing, and user access issues
• Respond to incidents, application alerts, and service requests in accordance with established service level agreements
• Support system startups, shutdowns, failovers, switchovers, disaster recovery testing, and planned maintenance activities
• Perform validation activities following application upgrades, patching, server maintenance, database changes, and infrastructure work
• Coordinate issue resolution across application support, infrastructure, database, networking, cybersecurity, and vendor support teams
• Monitor application health and proactively identify availability, performance, and reliability risks
• Support system integrations, interfaces, scheduled jobs, batch processing, and data transfer activities
• Assist with user provisioning, access reviews, role assignments, and security-related support requirements
• Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action efforts for recurring or high-impact incidents
• Support testing, implementation, and deployment of application enhancements, patches, configuration updates, and infrastructure changes

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications in a production environment
• Experience supporting Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), maintenance management applications, or similar operational platforms
• Hands-on experience with Asset Suite 9, Maximo, Infor EAM, IBM Maximo, SAP PM, Ellipse, or comparable asset management solutions strongly preferred
• Experience supporting NAMS or similar operational asset management systems is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting experience across applications, infrastructure, databases, integrations, and networking environments
• Experience supporting high-availability business-critical systems

Preferred:

• Experience in utility, power generation, nuclear, energy, manufacturing, industrial, or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience with SQL databases and database troubleshooting
• Familiarity with disaster recovery, failover testing, and business continuity planning
• Experience with automation tools such as PowerShell, Ansible, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting operational technology (OT) applications and environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
