IT Security Specialist III
Location: Denver, Colorado (On-site)

Role Overview
This position is for a Cyber Executive Protection role within a Global Information Security Cyber Crime Defense team. The role focuses on protecting senior leaders from a variety of cyber-enabled threats through proactive, intelligence-led risk reduction and operational execution. The specialist will serve as a key integration point across multiple security and corporate departments to anticipate, prevent, and respond to threats targeting executives and their families in high-sensitivity environments.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted security partner to senior executives, providing tailored cyber risk guidance and ongoing advisory support.
• Proactively identify and reduce executive digital exposure across PII, public records, breach data, and online footprints.
• Lead efforts to remove, suppress, and prevent the re-emergence of sensitive data using internal tools and external partners.
• Detect and remediate impersonation threats such as those on social media, fraudulent domains, and deepfakes targeting executives and their families.
• Partner with cyber intelligence, investigations, and corporate security to assess threats and enable proactive disruption.
• Operate within a Follow-the-Sun (FTS) model to support continuous monitoring, brand protection, and takedown actions.
• Triage and escalate cybercrime alerts and incidents from multiple data sources to the appropriate teams.
• Drive program maturity by contributing to strategy, governance, reporting, and scalable risk-based operations.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with executive-facing judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Experience identifying and triaging cyber-enabled threats, including PII exposure, impersonation, fraud, and social engineering attacks.
• Strong understanding of OSINT tradecraft, data aggregation ecosystems, and adversarial use of publicly available information.
• Experience conducting digital exposure reduction, including PII removal, impersonation takedowns, and online risk remediation.
• Ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and escalation indicators across various datasets and threat signals.
• Familiarity with monitoring and analysis across open, deep, and dark web environments.
• Experience contributing to playbooks, operational processes, dashboards, and case management frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex risk into executive-level insights.
• Proven ability to coordinate across security, legal, corporate communications, and HR in sensitive situations.
• Experience managing vendors and external partners, including tracking, escalation, and SLA governance.
• Proficiency with operational tracking and reporting tools such as Jira, Excel, or PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• A background in law enforcement, intelligence, or investigative disciplines is a plus.
