Engineering Project Manager

A product development and engineering consultancy in Boston, MA is looking for a full-time, hybrid Project Manager to lead complex client-facing programs across robotics, automation, and life sciences. In this role, you'll be the person driving projects forward - managing timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and cross-functional engineering teams from initial kickoff through final delivery. You'll work closely with both clients and technical teams while using tools such as MS Project, Jira, Asana, and ERP systems to keep projects on track.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on Project Manager who wants to stay close to the engineering work rather than simply manage from a distance. You'll have visibility into the full product development lifecycle, collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines, and serve as a key point of contact for innovative clients. If you enjoy solving problems, keeping teams aligned, and taking ownership of complex projects, this role gives you the opportunity to make a direct impact.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of Project Management experience
• 4+ years working on product development engineering teams
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and risks
• Strong client-facing and cross-functional communication skills
• Experience with MS Project, Jira, Asana, or similar project management platforms

Desired Skills & Experience

• PMP certification
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Engineering consulting experience
• Proposal development or business development experience
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed
