Job Responsibilities:       

• ·         MUST HAVE: PL/SQL, Unix, Perl and CICD - Telecom Billing experience
• ·         Experience Level: 6–10 Years, Department: Quality Engineering & Testing
• ·         Skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with extensive experience in Telecom Billing domain, Own the architecture, development, and execution of robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver Java) or Playwright and PL/SQL. You will ensure the end-to-end quality of our high-volume billing engines built using PL/SQL, web portals, and microservices while driving continuous testing integrations within our CI/CD pipelines.
• ·         Key Responsibilities
• ·         Automation Framework Architecture & Strategy
• ·         Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance automated testing frameworks from scratch using Playwright for modern UI workflows and Selenium WebDriver for legacy cross-browser validation.
• ·         Implement design patterns like Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• ·         Architect robust API Automation workflows using libraries like REST Assured, Axios, or Postman to validate core billing microservices.
• ·         Telecom Billing Domain Validation
• ·         Validate complex end-to-end BSS/Billing lifecycles, account provisioning, usage rating, tax calculation, discounting, invoicing, and balance management.
• ·         Perform high-volume data validation across batch billing cycles.
• ·         Conduct strict database testing (SQL/NoSQL) to verify data integrity, financial ledger accuracy, and transactional consistency.
• ·         CI/CD Integration & DevOps
• ·         Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps to enable continuous regression runs.
• ·         Manage parallel test executions across scalable cloud grids.
• ·         Leverage modern AI-assisted testing tools for smart test generation, visual regression, self-healing scripts, and accelerated log analysis.
• ·         Leadership & Collaboration
• ·         Lead sprint-level testing strategies, provide accurate automation sizing, and actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
• ·         Establish strict code review practices, and define automation coding standards.
• ·         Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Telecom Business Analysts to transform complex billing requirements into deterministic automation scripts.
• ·         Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
• ·         Domain Expertise
  In-depth knowledge of Telecom Billing System preferably Wholesale Billing
• ·         UI Automation Tools
• ·         Expert-level proficiency in Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) AND Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python).
• ·         API Testing
• ·         Strong hands-on experience with REST Assured, Postman, or Newman for microservices testing.
• ·         Database & Backend
• ·         Advanced PL/SQL proficiency for deep backend data reconciliation and database verification.
• ·         DevOps & Infrastructure
• ·         Strong experience with Git version control, Docker, and configuring pipelines in Jenkins/Azure DevOps.
