A London-based investment management firm | Hybrid | Permanent | £45,000 + bonus

Our client is a buy-side financial services firm operating in investment management. We're looking for a Junior Data & Applications Analyst to join their Technology team in London.

The role

You'll support the data and application processes that underpin the investment business, while also playing a hands-on role in building out a Microsoft Fabric data platform. It's a genuine blend of day-to-day operational support and platform engineering, giving you exposure across data operations, business intelligence, and application support in a financial services environment.

What you'll do

1. Contribute to a Microsoft Fabric build, including pipelines and Python-based automation
2. Support data reconciliations, quality monitoring, and month-end processes
3. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and support business intelligence requests
4. Support key business applications including market data terminals, portfolio and IBOR platforms, and custodian systems
5. Work with stakeholders across the business to gather requirements and resolve issues

What we're looking for

1. 1 to 2 years' experience in data, application support, or analytics
2. Strong SQL and Python skills
3. Advanced Excel
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with experience resolving data issues
5. Good communication and stakeholder management skills
