Senior Civil Project Engineer – Water Industry Location: Hampshire<br />Contract: Long-term Contract<br />Sector: Water / Wastewater An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Civil Project Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a major programme of water and wastewater projects. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting a substantial AMP8 programme, with a strong pipeline of projects providing excellent continuity for the right person. The Role Responsibilities will include:

• Managing and coordinating civil engineering activities across multiple projects
• Providing technical and engineering support to Project Managers and site teams
• Reviewing drawings, designs, specifications and technical submissions
• Managing RFIs, design queries and engineering issues
• Coordinating designers, subcontractors and supply-chain partners
• Supporting construction planning, sequencing and buildability reviews
• Managing civil interfaces with MEICA and other engineering disciplines
• Ensuring works comply with specifications, quality requirements and relevant standards
• Supporting RAMS, temporary works and technical documentation
• Monitoring engineering progress against programme
• Supporting commissioning, handover and project close-out
• Identifying and resolving technical issues that could impact programme or delivery Ideally, you will have:
• Strong civil engineering and project delivery experience
• Previous experience within the UK water or wastewater sector
• Experience delivering projects on treatment works, pumping stations, process facilities or other operational sites
• Good knowledge of design coordination and construction delivery
• Experience working for a Tier 1 contractor or established specialist contractor
• Experience managing subcontractors and engineering packages
• The ability to coordinate multiple projects or workstreams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
