Job Description

Position Title: US IT Recruiter / Technical Recruiter (Offshore)
Location: Chennai, India (100% Remote / Permanent Work from Home)
Shift: Night Shift (Typically aligned with US EST/CST time zones)
Role Objective
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Technical Recruiter to manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for IT requirements from US-based clients. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in sourcing top-tier technology talent using platforms like Dice, managing client accounts, and navigating US compliance structures from a remote setup in Chennai.
Core Core Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 5 to 10 years of proven experience in US Staffing / US IT Recruitment.
  • Platform Expertise: Advanced hands-on experience sourcing, boolean searching, and job posting on Dice, LinkedIn Recruiter, Monster, and CareerBuilder.
  • Tax Terms & Visa Knowledge: Thorough understanding of US tax guidelines (W2, C2C / Corp-to-Corp, 1099) and US visa types (H1B, L1, , s).
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills to screen, negotiate with, and build relationships with US-based candidates and vendors.
  • Geography: Must be based in or around Chennai, Tamil Nadu, to align with local remote hiring infrastructure, though the role itself is fully work-from-home.
Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing & Screening: Leverage the Dice database and other channels to source qualified software developers, DevOps engineers, cloud architects, and data professionals matching client requirements.
  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Handle the complete pipeline including initial outreach, technical vetting, interview scheduling, salary/rate negotiation, and closing candidates.
  • Compliance Handling: Coordinate mandatory post-placement and pre-joining formalities, including background verification checks and drug tests.
  • Reporting: Maintain and track pipeline statuses via an internal Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and publish weekly progress reports to the offshore management team.
