Junior PostgreSQL Database Engineer [$205k/yr+] TS/SCI-FS Poly with Security Clearance

Summary: • Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and replication strategies in an enterprise Linux environment. • Automate routine administrative tasks utilizing Bash and Python scripts. • Monitor database performance with Prometheus and Grafana while facilitating deployments across containerized and cloud platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.

Qualifications && Compensation: • Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience • Years of experience: 5+ years • Total Compensation: $205k+ yearly Job Description: • Provide technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage, retrieval, and data flow analysis. • Design, develop, and maintain relational database architectures, parser software, and database loading utilities. • Architect database structures aligned with overall system architecture, balancing capacity, logical and physical distribution, response times, and security contr ols. • Translate operational requirements into optimized schemas, queries, ad hoc scripts, and macros. • Support integration, continuous testing, and optimization across cloud and containerized infrastructure throughout the full development lifecycle.
