Role: Junior .NET Developer- Required GA Tax Clearance Letter

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 7 Months Contract with possibility of extensions

Interview Type: In Person Only and Candidates must currently reside in Georgia.

Job Description

IRG Clients is seeking for an Application Developer to support the configuration, development, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of an enterprise COTS application with multiple modules and subsystems.

The selected candidate will work with business and technical teams to understand requirements, configure the application, develop enhancements, troubleshoot issues, and provide production support.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
  • Configure application modules and reference tables.
  • Set up users, roles, and access permissions.
  • Develop application enhancements and change requests.
  • Create and maintain scripts.
  • Debug and troubleshoot application issues.
  • Perform application testing and validation.
  • Maintain source control and development documentation.
  • Prepare implementation specifications.
  • Provide production application support.
  • Follow software development standards and coding best practices.
  • Work in both Agile and traditional software development environments.
  • Learn and support new application functionality and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer/Management Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SQL databases.
  • At least 2 years of object-oriented development experience using .NET, Java, C#, VB, or similar technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, standards, and coding best practices.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with web services.
  • Familiarity with APIs.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Knowledge of SQL Stored Procedures.
  • Experience supporting enterprise or COTS applications.
