Summary:

The EUC Architect is responsible for delivering best-in-class End User Computing services that create measurable business value for customers, enhance the end-user experience, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration across employees and partners.

This role works closely with track leads, Service Delivery Managers, delivery teams, and internal groups such as Presales and Sales to ensure services consistently meet expected performance levels. The role also drives continual improvement and service excellence as core ways of working. Experience supporting merger and acquisition initiatives is essential.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge across a broad range of EUC technologies and platforms, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Active Directory/Entra ID, Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, Intune, MECM, and imaging solutions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead and support solutioning activities for RFPs, solution defense, and large-scale transition and transformation programs.
  • Oversee key EUC technologies and services, including Intune, Entra ID, Group Policy, VDI, Remote Apps, application packaging, and public key infrastructure.
  • Lead and mentor a team of EUC specialists by providing guidance, coaching, and technical direction.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused team culture that promotes innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and other end-user devices across the organization.
  • Develop and enforce standards for hardware, operating systems, software applications, and device configurations.
  • Manage relationships with EUC technology vendors, service providers, and contractors, including coordination of vendor support when required.
  • Partner closely with Presales and Sales teams to support both new and existing business opportunities.
  • Work with delivery teams to implement standard best practices across target accounts and ensure consistent service delivery and strong customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and delivery partners through regular engagement, roadmap discussions, and advocacy of organizational capabilities.
  • Continuously align service delivery processes to client business requirements and drive solution innovation to address client challenges.
  • Improve delivery efficiency and reduce costs through standardization of service delivery processes and technology solutions.
  • Provide escalation leadership and hands-on support for complex end-user issues, application interruptions, and service-impacting incidents to minimize downtime.
  • Establish governance, reporting, and escalation processes across assigned accounts.
  • Ensure successful execution of due diligence activities and smooth transition to business-as-usual operations for assigned projects.
  • Coach track leads and subject matter experts in assigned accounts to strengthen both technical and management capabilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging and niche technologies relevant to the EUC landscape and apply them to drive measurable business outcomes.

Technical Skills

The candidate should demonstrate strong knowledge and practical experience across EUC architecture, endpoint operations, user support, security configuration, and device lifecycle management, including the following areas:

  • Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, multi-factor authentication, and public key infrastructure
  • Intune, MECM, Mobile Device Management, Ivanti, application packaging, imaging, and endpoint configuration management
  • Citrix, Azure Virtual Desktop, VDI platforms, and Remote Apps
  • Microsoft 365, Office applications, OneDrive, SharePoint, Google Workspace, and digital certificate configuration on end-user systems
  • Windows 11 installation, upgrades, software deployment, antivirus updates, and support for authorized desktop applications
  • Advanced troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, peripheral devices, operating systems, office productivity tools, and remote support platforms such as Bomgar
  • VPN installation and configuration, Wi-Fi troubleshooting, and network connectivity support in LAN/WAN environments
  • Diagnostic information gathering, root-cause analysis, incident resolution, escalation management, and coordination with vendors for issue remediation
  • Python, automation, and continuous improvement of EUC support and service delivery processes
