Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Our client is an ambitious and rapidly growing organisation currently undergoing an exciting period of transformation. They are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive People Engagement Officer to play a key role in shaping and enhancing the employee experience across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR or employee engagement professional who is passionate about people, culture, and communication. Working closely with leaders and stakeholders across the organisation, you will help gather employee feedback, drive engagement initiatives, support change programmes, and ensure the organisation's values and culture remain at the heart of everything they do.

The Role

As People Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for listening to the voice of employees and transforming valuable feedback into meaningful actions that drive positive change. You will collaborate with leaders and teams across the organisation to strengthen engagement, improve communication, and support cultural development during a period of significant growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead employee surveys, forums, and feedback initiatives.
  • Analyse employee insights and create actionable improvement plans.
  • Support leaders in implementing and tracking engagement actions.
  • Manage people communications, including the HR newsletter.
  • Create clear, engaging, and accessible employee communications.
  • Coordinate the employee engagement calendar and culture initiative
  • Support organisational change programmes from a people perspective.
  • Contribute employee insight and communications to transformation projects.
  • Help embed company values within people processes and practices.
  • Work collaboratively across HR and wider business teams.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in HR, employee engagement, internal communications, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to turn feedback into practical actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting change and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Good understanding of employee experience, culture, and people processes.
  • CIPD or related qualifications desirable but not essential.
