Temporary HR Administrator
Location: Kings Lynn
Hours: Approximately 08:30am - 1:30pm, Monday to Friday (flexibility available for the right candidate)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and organised HR Administrator to join our HR team on a temporary basis while we review the permanent structure of the position.
Reporting to the HR Manager and working closely with the existing HR team, you will provide essential administrative support across a variety of HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration experience who is looking for a flexible, part-time role.
Key Responsibilities
As HR Administrator, you will support the day-to-day running of the HR function by:
- Maintaining accurate employee records and processing HR data
- Providing general HR and people administration support
- Supporting absence management processes, including monitoring records and coordinating return-to-work documentation
- Maintaining personnel files and ensuring records are up to date
- Assisting with learning and development administration, including coordinating training activities and managing training records
- Supporting occupational health administration, including preparing correspondence, tracking referrals, and maintaining records
- Managing compliance and mandatory training administration and record keeping
- Assisting with employee wellbeing initiatives, including health and vaccination programmes
- Supporting HR colleagues with general administrative duties as required
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in an HR administration or similar administrative role
- Possess a basic understanding of HR processes and employment-related administration
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Have strong data entry and record management skills
- Be confident using Microsoft Office applications and HR systems
- Be able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Have a professional and confidential approach when dealing with sensitive information
- Be capable of working independently while also being part of a supportive team
