Materials Management & Logistics Specialist I

Location: Houston, TX Local candidates

Employment: W2 Contract

Contract: 12 months

We re looking for a Materials Management & Logistics Specialist I to support warehouse, inventory, materials handling, shipping/receiving, and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Issue, receive, return, and restock materials

Receive vendor deliveries and inspect materials

Ship materials to other locations and maintain inventory records

Enter data and maintain documentation/logsOperate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cranes, and banding machines

Safely handle and transport materials, including hazardous materials

Support warehouse and logistics operations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

0 2 years of experience

Inventory management and Microsoft Excel skills

Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, or procurement

Shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to work in warehouse/outdoor environments and handle physical requirements of the role
