Scientific - Laboratory Technician Lv1

The position is responsible for the daily management of laboratory samples and document retention systems while supporting the processing team with sample preparation and forage sample analysis. Key duties include:

• Sample grinding
• NIR scanning
• Labeling
• Weighing
• Maintaining laboratory housekeeping standards
• Adhering to workplace safety policies and procedures

The role requires:

• At least one year of relevant experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related tools
• A high school diploma

Additional requirements include:

• Wearing leather shoes in the laboratory, as contractors are responsible for obtaining appropriate footwear before their start date
• Contact lenses are not permitted in the lab
• Employees may regularly handle ingredient samples containing allergens such as milk, peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, and shellfish
• A clean-shaven appearance may also be required when performing tasks that involve respirator use
