Senior Functional Analyst

This role involves interpreting business strategy into operational execution by gathering key artifacts and bridging the gap between strategy and execution. The Senior Functional Analyst will collaborate across multiple disciplines to streamline infrastructure enablement processes and drive AI adoption. This position offers the opportunity to lead efforts in achieving lean enterprise performance and engage in innovative AI solutions while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business and value stream maps to inform operational execution and strategy alignment.
• Lead initiatives to implement process improvements that drive lean enterprise performance across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and use cases for AI integration into business processes.
• Design and optimize structured AI chat flows that translate complex business requirements into effective conversational interactions.
• Support the integration and standardization of processes across Texas Pipe & Supply and its family of companies.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in process improvement, demonstrating a strong track record of successful initiatives.
• Proven experience in prompt engineering, including system prompts, few-shot examples, and structured output formatting.
• Working knowledge of distribution and manufacturing ERP systems and end-to-end operational workflows.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally to define requirements, use cases, and drive AI adoption across business units.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills, effectively bridging technical AI teams and non-technical users.
