Technical Manager (Must Skills IAM, Cloud, MS 365,Infra, Security, SSO, Atlassian)_Austin, TX (100% onsite)

We are looking for a Technical Manager to lead enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, and security services for a large-scale engineering environment. This role requires strong expertise in IAM, Cloud platforms, Microsoft 365, Atlassian tools, and infrastructure management.

The ideal candidate will drive IT service delivery, modernization initiatives, and operational excellence, while managing high-performing technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT services including IAM (SSO, MFA), networking, cloud platforms, service desk, and end-user computing
• Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) environments
• Drive IT infrastructure modernization, identifying gaps and implementing improvements
• Own incident management, SLA/KPI tracking, and service health monitoring
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to align IT services
• Build and lead high-performing technical teams

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and operations
• Strong expertise in:
  • IAM, SSO, MFA
  • Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
  • Microsoft 365 / O365
  • Infrastructure & network security
  • Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience in IT service delivery, incident management, SLA/KPI tracking
• Proven leadership experience managing enterprise IT teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

• Experience in semiconductor or engineering/R&D environments
• Background in MSP / IT services companies
• Exposure to enterprise IT transformation programs

Important Notes

• Must be local to Austin, TX OR willing to relocate
• 100% onsite role (no remote option)
• Strong hands-on technical understanding required (not just managerial)
