Job Description

At The July, we are on the hunt for an authentic Front Office Night Host, or as we call it: Night Guest Service Pro for our premium aparthotel in the heart of London. The location is a sustainable city oasis with 114 studios and two residential apartments. The property is also the home for our restaurant The Idler, a restaurant, bar, and deli, serving both neighbors and guests, ensuring our spaces stay lively and vibrant all day and night.

The Job

Your shift kicks off at 23:00 with a team handover, setting you up to manage reception operations, making sure every guest has what they need for a comfortable stay. You’ll be the first point of contact for late check-ins, answering questions, and handling any overnight requests. But you're not just a point of contact – you’ll also monitor the hotel's atmosphere and ensure the safety of both guests and staff. As the night winds down, you’ll prep everything for the morning team, take care of wake-up calls, and wrap things up by 7:00.

Your role is all about providing seamless experience for our guests while keeping the energy positive and relaxed throughout the night. Think of it as the perfect balance between keeping things running smoothly and adding that personal touch that makes all the difference!

  • Brings energy and enthusiasm to the team, always ready to get started with a positive attitude.

  • You can handle things on your own but also work very well as part of a team.

  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written – to ensure clear communication within the team.

What’s in it for you?

  • In addition to a competitive salary, you are entitled to Tronc (Service Charge).

  • 30 days holiday including bank holidays.

  • Me-Time/Community Day: Enjoy a dedicated day for self-care and another day of community engagement.

  • Hotel & restaurant perks: Enjoy daily closing drinks, exclusive employee rates for stays at hotels and a Friends & Family Rate, so you can share the joy with your loved ones. Besides our own locations we also offer the "Hotel Employee Rate", where you can explore the world with discount rates for other hotels.
