Job Description

Director of Human Resources | New York, NY | Hybrid

This employer is a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company with a significant global portfolio and a 30-year track record of innovation. They are known for developing a diverse range of hotel brands and providing expert guidance through all stages of the property cycle. They are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead their human resources functions.

The Role

  • Oversee all aspects of staffing, compliance, compensation, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Direct and supervise the Human Resources staff and manage the departmental budget.
  • Ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence to all employment laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts for both non-exempt and exempt personnel.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, programs, and training initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze turnover statistics and employee engagement.

What You'll Need

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in the hotel or hospitality industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (EEO, Wage & Hour, OSHA, ADA, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Proficient in maintaining employee benefits and compensation programs.
