Job Description

Marriott is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead HR strategy across its accommodation and food services operations. In this role, you will guide workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, and succession management while partnering closely with hotel and regional leaders. You will oversee performance management, leadership development, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance, ensuring alignment with Marriott's people-first culture and values. The Director will champion diversity and inclusion, manage complex employee relations, and drive training and career development programs that help associates grow long-term hospitality careers within Marriott's global portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR strategy and planning for a portfolio of Marriott hotels within the accommodation and food services sector
  • Oversee full-cycle talent management including workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding and succession planning
  • Partner with hotel and regional leadership to drive a people-first culture aligned with Marriott values
  • Manage performance management, coaching, and leadership development programs for managers and associates
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and labor relations standards
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR analytics to support competitive and equitable practices
  • Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives across properties
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and guide conflict resolution and investigations
  • Drive learning, training, and career development programs to build long-term hospitality careers
  • Lead HR team members, manage HR operations, and continuously improve HR processes and systems
