Lead Structural Engineer | Data Centers / Mission Critical

We’re seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to support a large-scale, complex data center program on the East Coast. This is a technical leadership role for someone who can lead structural design, mentor engineers, coordinate across disciplines, and support projects from design through construction.

Schedule: Hybrid, Tuesday-Thursday in office

Location: Albany, Chandler, Dallas, Raleigh

Travel: Approximately 25%

What You’ll Do

• Lead structural design for large data center and mission-critical projects
• Design and review structural steel and reinforced concrete systems
• Review calculations, structural models, drawings, and specifications
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to engineers and designers
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, civil, geotechnical, and construction teams
• Support constructability reviews, RFIs, submittals, and field activities
• Evaluate gravity, wind, seismic, equipment, vibration, and foundation loads

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of structural engineering experience
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline
• Strong steel and reinforced concrete design experience
• Experience leading technical work on large, complex facilities
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and AISC 341
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and leadership skills

Preferred Experience

• Data centers or mission-critical facilities
• Semiconductor fabs / advanced technology facilities
• Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, laboratory, or life sciences facilities
• PE license preferred
• Experience with STAAD.Pro, RAM, Enercalc, Tekla Tedds, Revit, or Tekla Structures
