Job Description

Job Title: Data Modeler – Finance Domain
Location: New York, NY
Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite
Experience: 8+ Years

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Data Modeler with strong Finance domain experience. The candidate will design and maintain data models for financial reporting, accounting, risk, treasury, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Strong experience in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modeling
  • Data Architecture
  • Dimensional Data Modeling
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Strong SQL and database design skills
  • Experience with Erwin, ERStudio, PowerDesigner, or similar tools
  • Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure SQL, or PostgreSQL
  • Data Warehousing and Data Vault
  • Strong understanding of Finance processes such as GL, AP/AR, Financial Reporting, Treasury, and Risk Reporting
Nice to Have:
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Synapse
  • Snowflake
  • Banking / Capital Markets / Financial Services experience
  • IFRS, US GAAP, or Basel knowledge
Soft Skills:
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with business and technical teams
  • Mentoring experience is a plus
