HR Advisor (12-month Fixed Term Contract) Kenilworth, Warwickshire Hybrid Working Available Following Initial Training Period Salary 35,000- 40,000

The Opportunity

Seymour John are pleased to be partnering with a well-established and growing organisation to recruit a HR Advisor on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive HR team, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality people service across the business. You will work closely with managers and employees on a broad range of HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, employee engagement, talent development and organisational change.

As HR Advisor, you will provide practical and commercially focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle. This is a varied and hands-on role, offering exposure to employee relations casework, recruitment and onboarding, people-focused projects, policy development and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring no two days are ever quite the same.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing HR advice and guidance on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance and capability cases
• Coaching and supporting managers on people-related issues and best practice
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and wider employee lifecycle activities
• Analysing HR data and producing insights and recommendations
• Supporting learning and development initiatives and employee development programmes
• Assisting with organisational change projects, restructures and consultations
• Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and systems
• Contributing to employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusion initiatives

Please note - once you have settled into the role, you will benefit from a hybrid working arrangement, typically comprising three days in the office and two days working remotely, subject to business and team requirements.

Personal Profile

You will be a confident and approachable HR professional who enjoys building strong working relationships and providing practical, people-focused solutions. Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, you will be able to balance employee needs with business objectives whilst offering sound advice and support across a broad range of HR matters. We are looking for someone who can work collaboratively with managers, take ownership of their workload, and contribute positively to a high-performing People & Culture team.

You will have:

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor, People Advisor, Employee Relations Advisor or similar HR role
• A good understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice
• CIPD qualification
• Experience managing employee relations cases including absence, disciplinary, grievance and performance matters
• The ability to confidently advise and coach managers on a range of people-related issues
• Strong communication, organisational and relationship-building skills
