On behalf of PwC, we are recruiting for a Senior Finance Transformation Lead on an initial 6- month contract with a potential extension. The role is based in Windsor and will operate on a hybrid working model.

Join us as a Senior Finance Transformation Lead:

The Senior Finance Transformation Lead will lead the next phase of a multi-year finance transformation programme, driving the development of a digitally enabled finance function through automation, AI, process redesign and technology modernisation. The role will translate strategic vision into actionable delivery plans, leading large-scale organisational, operating model and workforce transformation to achieve sustainable cost efficiencies, enhanced capabilities and greater business value.

What you'll do:

• Lead end-to-end finance transformation programmes, driving operating model, process, technology, data and organisational change.
• Develop and deliver the multi-year finance transformation strategy and roadmap, aligned to business objectives and value creation.
• Oversee a complex portfolio of transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and with measurable benefits.
• Drive finance process redesign, leveraging automation, AI, analytics and digital technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Establish robust governance, risk management and performance frameworks to monitor progress, outcomes and compliance.
• Maximise value from strategic delivery partners, including outsourcing and offshore models, while building sustainable internal capabilities.
• Lead large-scale organisational and workforce transformation, ensuring effective change management, adoption, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Partner with senior finance and business leaders to secure alignment, drive innovation and embed a culture of continuous improvement.

The skills you'll need:

• ACA (ICAEW) or an equivalent chartered accountancy qualification (for example ACCA, CIMA, ICAS or a recognised overseas equivalent).
• Proven experience leading technology-enabled finance transformations, including ERP, automation, AI, analytics, and digital finance solutions.
• Strong track record of developing multi-year transformation roadmaps and delivering end-to-end Finance Operating Model change.
• Expertise in managing complex programmes involving internal stakeholders, technology vendors, consulting firms, and delivery partners.
• Deep understanding of emerging finance technologies, intelligent automation, generative AI, and their practical application within finance functions.
• Demonstrated success delivering productivity improvements, process simplification, and cost efficiencies in large, complex organisations.
• Highly effective at influencing Executive and Board-level stakeholders, communicating complex transformation strategies with clarity and impact.
• Strategic, collaborative, and values-driven leader with strong influencing skills, comfortable navigating ambiguity and inspiring teams through change.
