Corporate Banking Credit Analyst (Mandarin speaking)

cer Financial are working alongside a bank, who are based in London. They are seeking a Credit Analyst who has had Corporate Banking experience to work with them on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct credit analysis for corporate borrowers and prepare credit applications for loan approvals.
2. Analyse financial statements, cash flows, debt capacity, and credit risks.
3. Perform periodic credit reviews of existing borrowers and projects.
4. Prepare financial forecasts, stress tests, and valuation models.
5. Support corporate client relationship management and participate in client meetings.
6. Liaise with credit risk, legal, and business teams to support loan approvals and execution.

The candidate:

1. Minimum 2 years’ experience in corporate banking, credit analysis, or risk management.
2. Understanding of corporate lending, syndicated and bilateral loans.
3. Strong financial statement analysis, credit assessment, and financial modelling skills.
4. Ability to independently conduct credit analysis and prepare credit applications.
5. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
6. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
7. Mandarin language skills and CFA/ACCA qualifications are advantageous.
8. Mandarin speaking.
