Job Description

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer to design, build, and optimize large-scale applications that power our automotive and media platforms. You will architect and integrate enterprise systems, develop robust APIs, and ensure reliability, performance, and security for high-traffic, data-driven products. Partner with product, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS or Azure. Mentor engineers, guide best practices, and drive continuous improvement across CI/CD, observability, and automation in a collaborative, people-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Design and evolve enterprise application architectures to support high-scale automotive and media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain services and APIs using modern languages and frameworks.
  • Integrate internal and third-party systems, ensuring secure, reliable data exchange.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and resiliency for mission-critical applications.
  • Implement and improve CI/CD, testing, and automation practices.
  • Collaborate with product, data, and infrastructure teams on technical solutions.
