Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant Onsite | Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a growing organization. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong full-cycle accounting experience who is comfortable working across month-end close, financial reporting, payroll, AP/AR, and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities Perform general ledger accounting and maintain accurate financial records Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and deferred revenue Prepare balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations Manage accounts payable, vendor invoices, and payment processing Support accounts receivable, including billing, cash applications, and collections Process bi-weekly payroll, including commissions, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and employee changes Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports Ensure revenue and expenses are recorded accurately and timely Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial projections Coordinate with external accounting partners on quarterly and annual tax requirements Prepare year-end schedules and support annual tax filings Support 1099 preparation and filing Assist with payroll, retirement plan, workers’ compensation, and other audits Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 5+ years of accounting experience Strong general ledger and month-end close experience Experience preparing journal entries and account reconciliations Hands-on AP, AR, and payroll experience Understanding of financial statements and financial reporting Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Proficiency with QuickBooks and/or ERP systems Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is a hands-on Senior Accountant who enjoys having visibility across the entire accounting function.

This person should be comfortable moving between transactional accounting and higher-level close and reporting responsibilities while taking ownership of their work in a fast-paced environment.
