Node.js developer - W2 (No C2C or 1099) - Remote (Posted SAM)

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including significant experience delivering production web applications.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Node.js and backend API development, including RESTful services, integration patterns, error handling, logging, and performance considerations.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of React framework development, including component design, state management, routing, reusable UI patterns, and integration with backend services.
• Strong database skills include query development, optimization, indexing, and application data access patterns; PostgreSQL preferred, but experience with any major relational database is acceptable.
• Experience developing accessible applications that meet ADA and WCAG accessibility standards, including semantic markup, keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, and inclusive user experience practices.
• Practical AI experience is required, including use of AI tools to support software development, improve developer productivity, assist with code generation or review, and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into applications where appropriate.
• Experience with software development lifecycle practices including requirements analysis, technical design, coding standards, automated testing, CI/CD, release management, and production support.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering maintainable and reliable solutions.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
