Job Description


·         Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation activities on-site, including mounting structures, trackers, and module installation.

·         Review and validate mechanical engineering designs, calculations, and technical drawings.

·         Ensure the correct assembly and installation of PV mounting systems (fixed-tilt and trackers) according to specifications and standards.

·         Monitor subcontractors and site teams to ensure work is executed safely, on time, and in compliance with quality requirements.

·         Collaborate with engineering teams in the office to optimize mechanical designs and construction methods.

·         Conduct site inspections to verify alignment, torque checks, structural integrity, and installation quality.

·         Identify and resolve mechanical issues during construction and propose corrective actions.

·         Support planning and scheduling of mechanical works and track project progress.

·         Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSE/QHSE) standards.

·         Prepare technical reports, punch lists, and as-built documentation.

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

·         Proven experience (typically 3–7+ years) in photovoltaic (solar) projects or similar industrial/construction environments.

·         Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly, structural systems, and installation processes.

·         Experience with PV mounting systems, trackers, and structural components.

·         Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

·         Experience working both on-site and in engineering offices.

·         Familiarity with relevant standards and codes (Eurocodes, ISO, or similar).

·         Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

·         Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.

·         Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
