Job Description

Job Title: Senior Business Analyst / Data Developer
Location: Quincy, MA – Hybrid
Interview: 2–3 rounds, including 1 onsite interview
Location Requirement: Candidates must be local to MA, RI, or NH

Key Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into data warehouse and BI solutions.
Perform complex data analysis, data profiling, and SQL queries.
Work with Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and business stakeholders.
Create technical and business documentation.
Participate in requirements and solution review sessions.
Present analysis and requirements to technical and business teams.
Support data platform implementation and modernization projects.
Assist with BI/Data Warehouse training for end users.
Develop and maintain best practices and processes for data solutions.
Ensure solutions are delivered according to requirements and timelines.

Required Skills

Strong Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering experience.
Excellent SQL skills.
Experience with Data Warehousing / Enterprise Data Solutions.
Strong data analysis and data profiling skills.
Experience with Healthcare data and HIPAA/data privacy.
Experience with AWS cloud services.
Experience with Snowflake or other cloud databases.
Experience with Tableau and/or Cognos.
Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

Healthcare / MassHealth experience.
AWS experience.
Snowflake experience.
Tableau reporting experience.
Experience supporting Data Modernization / Cloud Data Platform initiatives.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
