We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer with strong experience in application development, low-latency systems, and financial markets. The candidate will work on complex application development initiatives, provide technical solutions, and collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development teams.

Strong Multithreading / Concurrent Programming

TCP/IP, WebSocket & Multicast

Low-latency messaging middleware

Streaming technologies

Kafka / AMQ / Messaging Brokers

Hazelcast / IMDG

Linux/Unix environment

Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA

Agile/Scrum experience

Financial Markets Experience

Experience developing applications for Financial Markets

Knowledge of Equities, Futures, and Options

Trading, market-data, or other low-latency financial applications is highly desirable

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, debug, and implement complex Java applications.

Develop prototypes and integrate third-party services.

Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.

Review code for quality, security, and coding standards.

Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.

Improve application performance, efficiency, and resiliency.

Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes.

Oracle / Sybase database experience

Streaming and distributed systems

Low-latency/high-throughput application development

Financial trading technology experience

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
