Are you a Junior Mechanical Engineer or similar looking for a role in a marine construction company who are providing you with full in-house and external training courses, ensuring that you are fully supported to becoming a senior engineer?

This company is a repair and maintenance company who specialize in working with offshore marine construction projects, supplying nuclear, defense, ports, and harbors industries. Founded in 1975, they have grown in employee size and projects year on year, developing their employees through training and progression to ensure that they reach their maximum potential and stay within the company for the long term.

In this role you will be responsible for the installation and repair of underwater construction projects, working more specifically on the reviewing of technical designs, and risk assessments. You will be provided with in-house and external training courses to ensure that you are upskilled whilst gaining key site experience, to speed up your progression to senior/project engineer.

This role would suit a Junior Mechanical Engineer or similar looking for a role inside of a marine construction company where you will gain full training courses whilst gaining key on site experience, being fast tracked to senior engineer roles.

THE ROLE:

• Planning and coordinating civil and marine engineer projects
• Review designs
• Provide technical engineer support
• Program and monitor projects
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and on time

THE PERSON:

• Junior Mechanical Engineer or similar
• Looking for career development and training
• Full UK driving license
