Data Analyst/ Report Writer

Contract Length: 6 months, with possibility of extension

We are seeking an experienced SSRS Report Developer for a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. This role will support a report migration initiative, focusing on reviewing existing Crystal Reports, understanding the underlying reporting requirements and data, and translating those reports into SSRS.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SSRS report-writing experience, experience working with Crystal Reports, and the analytical skills needed to ensure reports are migrated accurately and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• Review and interpret existing Crystal Reports
• Translate and rebuild Crystal Reports within SSRS
• Analyze report logic, data requirements, and existing reporting structures
• Validate migrated reports for accuracy, consistency, and functionality
• Troubleshoot reporting and data-related issues
• Work with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and ensure migrated reports meet business needs

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing reports with SSRS
• Experience reviewing, supporting, or developing Crystal Reports
• Ability to translate existing Crystal Reports into SSRS
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills
• Experience working with SQL and relational data
• Ability to understand existing report logic and identify underlying data requirements
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when validating report accuracy during migrations
• Ability to work independently in a contract/project-based environment
