responsibilities:

Collaborate daily with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineers to translate business needs into robust reporting and semantic modeling requirements.

Write, execute, and optimize advanced SQL queries to profile, validate, and aggregate data across various enterprise systems.

Ensure data accuracy by performing rigorous quality assessments, validation, and testing before and after production rollouts.

Navigate modern cloud data warehousing environments using dimensional modeling, star schemas, and ETL/ELT processes.

Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies and reporting gaps through root cause analysis.

Create and maintain essential documentation, including source-to-target mappings, entity-relationship diagrams, and data dictionaries.

qualifications:

Must-HavesBachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience. 5 or more years of hands-on experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data solutions. Advanced proficiency in SQL combined with robust data analysis capabilities. Demonstrated experience with data warehousing concepts, semantic data models, and dimensional modeling. Proven ability to validate data across multiple systems and troubleshoot complex issues. Track record of successfully partnering with data engineering teams to deliver and validate enterprise solutions. Excellent critical thinking, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Nice-to-HavesPrior experience navigating modern cloud-based data architecture. Proficiency using Power BI or similar enterprise visualization tools. Familiarity with metadata management and enterprise data governance practices. Experience using AI-enabled tools to streamline data preparation, analytics, or documentation. Ability to design KPIs, conduct trend analysis, and translate business questions directly into data models.
