Hiring: Senior Enterprise Architect

Location: Downtown Houston, TX

Work Model: Hybrid / Onsite / Remote but has to travel once every month (Expenses Paid)

Experience: 15+ Years Overall | 7+ Years Enterprise Architecture

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to define enterprise architecture strategy, standards, governance, reference architectures, and long-term technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and technology roadmaps
• Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks across cloud, applications, data, infrastructure, and security
• Lead Architecture Review Board and architectural governance processes
• Create reference architectures, capability maps, technology standards, and reusable architecture assets
• Guide Domain, Platform, and Solution Architects on enterprise standards and best practices
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Drive technology innovation and enterprise architecture initiatives
• Assess current technology landscapes and identify modernization, optimization, and redundancy opportunities
• Manage application portfolios and contribute to technology transformation roadmaps
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across data, infrastructure, security, applications, and integration
• Maintain Enterprise Architecture tools, repositories, and governance documentation

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Enterprise Architecture
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture principles, governance, standards, and frameworks
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, iServer, or similar
• Strong Data Platform Architecture experience across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and multi-cloud environments
• TOGAF certification with hands-on experience applying TOGAF principles
• Experience across infrastructure, security, applications, data, and integration architecture
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and architectural governance skills
• Knowledge of change management and release management processes

Preferred:

• Experience in insurance, utilities, or other highly regulated industries
• Experience driving enterprise innovation and technology modernization initiatives
• Experience leading Architecture Communities of Practice
