CACI is seeking a talented Network Engineer III to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. In this role, you'll support the "Know your Network" Zero Trust Architecture Capabilities. Provide assistance in all aspects of network management from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks; Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents; Implements communication system requirements to support the distributed functionality of a software engineering environment. Responsibilities: Responsible for implementing the Forward Networks commercial tool to capture, organize, and maintain all Mission Island network inventory, network maps, and associated vulnerabilities plus help integrate the inventory with High Side network enterprise model.

Qualifications: Required

• Strong understanding of computer networking architecture (Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Protocols, etc.).
• Proficiency with understanding configurations from multiple vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, etc.
• Experience with Zero Trust related activities (hardening systems, customer ZT compliance requirements).
• Previous technical experience with system administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or similar.
• Ability to read and understand system configuration files to verify correct ingestion into Forward Networks.
• IAT Level 3 cert is required.
• 12 years' experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college or university is required.
• 4 years of additional network engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

Desired

• Forward Networks/Redseal experience or comparable network modeling tool.
• Networking certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent.
