Manager, Property Accounting (PP&E) - Charlotte, NC - Full Time - $125,000-$145,000 Per Year

The role involves leading property accounting across capital projects and the fixed-asset lifecycle in a full-time capacity based in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities include overseeing project cost accounting, managing fixed-asset lifecycles, and handling asset retirement obligations. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee capital project accounting, including project costs and closeout.
• Manage the fixed-asset lifecycle, including additions, transfers, and reconciliations.
• Lead asset retirement obligations accounting and related processes.
• Handle impairment considerations, asset disposals, and gain/loss calculations.
• Establish and strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and controls.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Extensive experience in property, plant, and equipment accounting.
• Hands-on experience with asset retirement obligations.
• Strong knowledge of fixed assets, depreciation, and reconciliations.
• Experience in audit support and accounting remediation.
