Required Education

Preferred Certifications
Red Hat certifications such as RHCSA, RHCE are highly desirable.
Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) are a plus.
Required Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
Strong hands-on experience with Linux RHEL system administration in enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of:
oSystem configuration and hardening
oNetworking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls)
oStorage management (LVM, NFS, iSCSI)
oSystem monitoring and log analysis
Proficiency with shell scripting (Bash, sh) for automation.
Experience with package management (YUM, DNF) and system services (systemd).
Working knowledge of LDAP (NSS/PAM/SSSD) and Sendmail/SMTP
Database exposure
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication and documentation abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
Desired Skills, Experience, & Abilities:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform).
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Zabbix).
Role:
We are seeking Linux RHEL System Administrator with strong foundational expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux configuration, troubleshooting, and system administration. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience managing enterprise Linux environments and ensuring system reliability, security, and performance. Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, configure, and maintain RHEL-based Linux servers across production, staging, and development environments.
Perform system installation, patching, upgrades, kernel tuning, and performance optimization.
Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, storage, and networking configurations.
Monitor system health, automate routine tasks, and ensure high availability and uptime.
Troubleshoot complex OS-level issues and provide root-cause analysis.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including SELinux, firewalls, and vulnerability remediation.
Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
Collaborate with application, network, and security teams to support business-critical workloads.
Document system configurations, procedures, and operational standards.
