Job Description
uperlanet is seeking two Senior Workday Analysts for our healthcare client in Texas. These are direct-hire, primarily remote positions with travel required for key project milestones and go-live events.
The Senior Workday Analysts will support the implementation, configuration, testing, optimization, and ongoing support of a new Workday environment. One position will focus on Workday Payroll, while the second will focus on Workday HCM.
Responsibilities
- Configure, test, implement, and optimize Workday functionality.
- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations and processes.
- Support implementation, testing, data validation, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
- Troubleshoot complex configuration and production issues.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Support Workday releases, enhancements, and ongoing production needs.
- Deep hands-on Workday Payroll configuration and implementation experience.
- Pay groups, calendars, earnings, deductions, payroll taxes, and tax jurisdictions.
- Payroll accounting and GL mapping.
- Retroactive and off-cycle payroll.
- Time Tracking, Absence, and Benefits touchpoints.
- Parallel payroll testing, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live.
- EIBs and payroll-related data conversion.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years of relevant Workday/enterprise application experience.
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong hands-on Workday configuration expertise in Payroll.
- Workday implementation, optimization, or major system initiative experience.
- Strong business analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Healthcare or higher education experience
- Workday certifications are valued, but hands-on configuration and implementation experience is the priority.
