A growing, privately held organization is seeking an experienced
Human Resources Manager to oversee and execute a broad range of HR functions while supporting the day-to-day needs of the business.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role with responsibility across recruiting, payroll, benefits, HR systems, employee relations, compliance, employee experience, and office operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR Professional who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and working closely with employees and company leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, and onboarding. Process weekly payroll, compensation changes, bonuses, reporting, and occasional off-cycle payroll. Oversee HRIS administration, employee records, time-off tracking, performance reviews, and system improvements. Administer health, dental, vision, and retirement benefits, including open enrollment, reporting, audits, and employee communications. Coordinate workers' compensation reporting, case management, and audits.
Support employee relations, company policies, handbook updates, compliance matters, and employee offboarding. Coordinate employee recognition, team-building, training, and other employee experience initiatives. Support day-to-day office operations, vendors, travel coordination, and special projects. Partner with leadership on HR initiatives and other business needs as they arise. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
Strong knowledge of recruiting, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and HR administration. Hands-on payroll and HRIS experience strongly preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Self-directed, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to take a hands-on approach and step outside traditional HR responsibilities when needed.
