Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in data engineering and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure and will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building data pipelines, and working with large datasets in a cloud environment.
Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on development experience with Python
Experience with PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation
Strong working knowledge of Snowflake, including data modeling, querying, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with Databricks and Spark-based data processing
Experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure-based data services
Experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines
Strong SQL and data-processing skills
Experience working with large-scale and complex datasets
Ability to troubleshoot data, performance, and integration issues
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
Experience with Microsoft Fabric
Familiarity with modern cloud data architectures and data lake/lakehouse concepts
Experience with CI/CD and version-control practices for data engineering projects
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable data applications using Python and PySpark
Develop and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale data processing
Build data solutions using Snowflake and Databricks
Develop and support cloud-based data solutions within Microsoft Azure
Perform data transformations, integrations, and performance optimization
Collaborate with data engineers, architects, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements
Troubleshoot production issues and ensure reliability and performance of data pipelines
Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and development best practices
Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Strong hands-on experience in Python-based data engineering/development
Proven experience with Python, PySpark, Snowflake, Databricks, and Microsoft Azure
Ability to work onsite in Des Moines, Iowa
Candidates must be able to work on a W2 contract
