Import & Trade Compliance Analyst - Defense Manufacturing

SAAB is seeking an Import Analyst to support compliant, efficient global material flows for advanced defense and security systems. In this role you will manage import documentation, ensure adherence to customs and trade regulations, perform HTS classification, and coordinate with logistics providers, internal engineering, and procurement teams. Responsibilities

• Manage and validate import documentation for materials and components
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade, and security regulations
• Perform HTS classification and support ECCN and licensing reviews
• Coordinate with logistics providers, customs brokers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor shipments and resolve import delays or issues
• Analyze import data to optimize cost, lead time, and duty exposure
• Support internal and external trade compliance audits
• Maintain accurate records and reports within ERP systems
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement on import requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement of import and compliance processes
