Job Description

About the role The Operations Research Analyst applies advanced quantitative techniques to improve decision making across defense economic, logistics, and infrastructure domains. This role leverages optimization, simulation, and statistical forecasting to provide data-driven recommendations that increase mission effectiveness. Analysts in this position are expected to work closely with leadership to convert operational challenges into mathematical models that yield actionable insights. Responsibilities

  • Develop models to analyze mission performance and resource allocation.
  • Apply optimization and simulation techniques to mission problems.
  • Prepare decision-support products for government stakeholders.
  • Translate operational challenges into quantifiable models.
  • Support long-range planning through statistical forecasting. Required qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, or related field OR 9+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in applied quantitative analysis.
  • Proficiency in optimization software and statistical tools. Preferred qualifications
  • Master's in Operations Research or Applied Mathematics.
  • Experience with military logistics or infrastructure planning.
  • Familiarity with economic modeling.
